OLLI at Illinois - Lifelong Learning Community

OLLI Art Gallery Artists   

OLLI Members are invited to submit works of art for display in the Member Lounge.

 

To do so, please read the specifics below and then submit the linked OLLI Art Gallery Application for your work to be considered. Thank you!

Details:

  1. The space for two-dimensional work is up to about 4 feet wide and 5 feet tall.  Work must be ready to hang on a wall hook and should not exceed 15 pounds.  Frames are not required.  Artist must bring art into the OLLI lobby area.

  2. Three-dimensional work will be displayed in the bookshelves (shelves are about 12 inches high, 12 inches deep, 32 inches wide).  Floor-mounted work will be considered, depending on size.  One pedestal is available.

  3. Artist will need to sign a standard waiver of liability for damage or loss.

  4. Artist may submit a brief statement with biographical details and information about the artwork (materials, processes, inspirations). This will be displayed with the art.

  5. Artwork will be displayed for a minimum of two months (full timeframe will be flexible).
